The Centre season commenced on Saturday morning with well over 200 athletes eager to display their athletic skills at Masons Lane Reserve. Jarvis Miles (Blues) started his season off with a bang in his first event, setting a new Under 13 Discus record with a record distance of 31.31 metres. This record had previously stood for 10 years. Keely Rich (Dolphins) threw 21.08 meters in the Under 15 Girls Javelin to set her first Centre Record.

All Under 9-15 athletes have been emailed Relay Forms and are encouraged to be a part of the BMLAC Relay Squad which will compete at the Region Relays in Melton on Saturday 19 November. Teams that qualify will then compete at the State Championships on Saturday 17 December at Lakeside Stadium, Albert Park. Relay Forms must be submitted to your team manager by October 22.

Next Saturday will be our Official Season Opening and Program 2 will be conducted. Registrations are still being taken via the link on the BMLAC website – www.bacchusmarshlittleathletics.org.au
