Bacchus Marsh will be once again participating in the Benalla Cross Country Open Day over the June long weekend. This has always been the highlight on our Cross Country calendar. Events are also available for adults – the kids love seeing mum and dad run, and every point counts towards the Benalla Perpetual Trophy.
Saturday we travel up to Benalla and stay at the Benalla Leisure Park. Those who rebooked cabins from last year must confirm their booking asap or book your cabin now (Ph 5762 3434). Saturday evening we all come together in the camp kitchen where our speciality spaghetti bolognaise pasta fix will be provided for the athletes; parents can cook on the BBQ’s provided. On Sunday morning we convoy out the Reef Hills Reserve for the Open Day. On Sunday evening we all gather again in the camp kitchen for a fun social evening, while kids enjoy the freedom of the park or a video night. Some families choose to use the BBQs for tea or order in pizzas, takeaway etc. Monday morning the Park will provide a pancake breakfast, prior to our departure.
